POSITION SUMMARY

The Reliability Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the technical support in the Maintenance department. This position develops, and carries out projects, initiatives aimed at improving the overall equipment & process reliability. This position is also involved in a variety of engineering projects, with a particular emphasis on electrical and controls systems.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Reliability Maintenance

• The Reliability Maintenance Engineer will provide maintenance, electric, and hydraulic engineering services and support.
• Guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls and safety/security systems. Guides efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls and safety/security systems.
• Professionally and systematically defines, designs, develops, monitors and refines an asset maintenance plan that includes: Value-added preventive maintenance tasks and effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems
• Provides input to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operations.

Maintenance Responsibilities

• Oversees the facility’s maintenance program; identifies and analyzes equipment or machinery failures and takes corrective actions.
• Ensures that the facility’s equipment and machines are maintained properly and working correctly.
• Provides technical training to management and other team members.
• Coordinates work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and consultants related to ongoing operations, as opposed to Capital Projects

preventative maintenance

• Executes major tasks in preventative maintenance assignments; implementation of productivity improvement systems
• Assists in investigating recurring mechanical problems and proposes long term solutions

Specialized education equivalent to a Bachelors Degree. Requires application of knowledge in a
