Develops, coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design
concepts. Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for
achieving required levels of product reliability. Compiles and analyzes performance reports and
process control statistics; investigates and analyzes relevant variables potentially affecting product and
processes. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Analyzes preliminary
plans and develops reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental
agency reliability objectives. May develop mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes
posing excessive failure risks. As necessary, proposes changes in design or formulation to improve
system and/or process reliability. May determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing,
and specifies minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in an Engineering or related discipline – preferably Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering.
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with MS Office applications including a high level of proficiency with Excel

Strong written and oral communication skills

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Experience in Python, Java, C#, SQL, Tableau

Data Analytics Experience

Experience using Reliability software tools

Self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with little direction

Ability to make formal presentations to large groups and be able to interact well in a team atmosphere with engineers, subcontractors, program managers and customers

Experience reading Engineering Drawings, Mechanical and Electrical

Effective analytical problem solving skills and the ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
