JOB SUMMARY:
The Regulatory and Quality Specialist - RN supports the daily activities of a multidisciplinary and cross_x0002_functional team in the areas of regulatory and quality functions. The Regulatory and Quality Specialist - RN actively promotes best practice by assisting in regulatory accreditation/certification (such as CMS, DOH, DNV etc.) preparation and sustainability. Under the direction of the Manager of Quality and Patient Safety, the Regulatory & Quality Specialist-RN works with interdisciplinary teams to achieve Quality Management System (QMS) goals, regulatory preparedness, and successful completion of improvement projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
  • BSN or advanced degree preferred.
  • Have (or obtain within 12 months of hire) CPPS, CPHQ, or PMP preferred.
Experience
  • 3 years of acute clinical experience required.
  • Direct accreditation and regulatory experience preferred.
  • Quality improvement, healthcare safety, or project management experience preferred.
  • Smartsheet experience preferred (In lieu, Smartsheet Foundations Path completed within 6 months of hire).
Licensure/Credentials
  • Current Washington state RN license, required.
