The ideal candidate will have a current and active LVN license in the state of CA and at least one year of LVN pediatric experience. Currently seeking a compassionate LVN for an 8 year old female. History of Cerebral Palsy and seizures. She is non verbal and diapered. Looking for an LVN who will be participating in client's activities of daily living including socialization, outings, appointments and developmental milestones. You would be working with a very supportive family. Residence is in Novato.

• Private Duty Nurse- One client in private residence
• 12 hours shifts, 8a-8p and 8p-8a/ 7 days/week

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care
• Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs, and keeps the Director of Nursing and any other appropriate personnel informed
• Proactively updates client/patients’ family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns

Requirements:

• Current unrestricted LVN license in state for which care is being provided
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
