Specialized Support Services, Inc. in Kirksville, Missouri, is hiring a registered nurse to provide monthly assessments for persons with disabilities who live in individually supported living environments with 24 hours of daily support seven days a week. The work includes review of medical appointments/records and reviewing medications and physician orders. This position is part time. The hours are approximately 21.25 hours per month for regular oversight and can be organized for days, evenings and/or weekends. In addition, we are implementing the new Health Risk Screening Tool for all of our consumers, and training and onboarding for that responsibility will require additional hours at the outset but then will require minimal additional hours at annual ISP review dates. Compensation starts at $30/hour. Our agency provides supports to adults with developmental disabilities. This is a perfect position for an RN who needs a flexible schedule to accommodate his/her/their daily routine and/or family life.
