Job description
Olive Care Services LLC is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for home health visits and case management. The successful Registered Nurse (RN) will love working with home health patients, be comfortable with documentation requirements, and have extensive assistance in the health care industry. We are looking for RNs who are organized and responsible, comfortable reassuring patients and their families, and have excellent communication skills.
Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and render treatment to home health patients under physician's orders
- Communicate with physicians, other RNs, LVNs, pharmacists, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each home health patient
- Create and contribute to the patients' medical records as needed
- Respond to injuries, concerns, and complaints from home health patients and their families
- Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members
- Counsel patients and family members before, during, and after treatment
- Complete and submit required documentation according to Agency policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nursing license
- Advanced knowledge of EMRs
- 1+ year(s) of nursing experience, preferably in home health
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and fill-in when needed
- Bilingual Spanish is desirable
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
