Requirements:
- Current RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN
- Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- Assist in surgical procedures by passing instruments and supplies to the surgeon
- Administer medications and anesthesia as ordered by the physician
- Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
