Grand River Health is a critical access facility and a not-for-profit Special Tax District, formed by the citizens to serve the area’s health care needs. You’ve hit the location jackpot with our main hospital campus in the picturesque Rifle, Colorado with twenty-five beds providing a wide range of services, along with a long-term care center and a satellite campus. Our Care Center is looking for passionate and caring candidates to fill one of the below positions:

Registered Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse


SALARY INFORMATION :

LPN: $25.00 - $27.51 Dependent on Experience
RN: $27.00 - $44.91 Dependent on Experience
Additional $2.00 - $4.00 an hour for additional weekend and night shifts.


BASIC FUNCTION: Promotes the physical and mental health of residents by applying nursing processes. This is done as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health.

Coordinates and monitors medical services, including medication services, in accord with the requirements of regulatory agencies and in response to individual resident needs. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid and active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the State of Colorado required.
  • A temporary permit issued by the Board of Nursing will be accepted until a permanent license is received if awaiting reciprocity.
  • Graduate nurses with temporary permits will function only under the direct supervision of an RN.
  • Graduates must apply for the first available State Board Examination after graduation.
  • In such instance continued employment is contingent upon successfully passing examination.
  • Must have current BLS card upon hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
  • LPN’s are required to have IV certification upon hire or within one year of employment and maintain current status.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prefer one year of professional nursing experience in a nursing home setting.
