Job Position: (RN) - ICU

Pay Range: $77 Hourly, ($2775 weekly gross) on W2 without Benefits

Organization: Aspirus Ironwood Hospital

Location: Ironwood, MI 49938

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Weekly Hours: 36 | Daily Hours: 12

Schedule: Variable/Days/Nights

REQUIREMENTS:

· Required Certifications: RN-MI License from AHA

· BLS and ACLS

· Float Requirements: possibly to MS unit if needed

· On Call/Call Back Requirements: none required

· Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday

· Charting Experience: EPIC

Responsibilities:

· Patient assessment: Perform thorough assessments of patients' conditions, including vital signs, neurological status, respiratory status, cardiac function, and other relevant parameters. Monitor changes in the patient's condition and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team.

· Care planning: Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for ICU patients. This may involve creating individualized nursing care plans based on the patient's condition and specific needs.

· Medication administration: Administer medications as prescribed, including intravenous (IV) medications, vasoactive drips, antibiotics, and other treatments. Monitor the effects of medications and ensure proper dosage and timing.

· Technical skills: Utilize and maintain proficiency in a variety of technical skills such as airway management, mechanical ventilation, cardiac monitoring, arterial and venous line management, hemodynamic monitoring, and various procedures specific to critical care.

· Monitoring and intervention: Continuously monitor patients' conditions, including cardiac rhythms, oxygenation levels, and hemodynamic parameters. Recognize and respond to changes or deterioration in the patient's status promptly and initiate appropriate interventions or call for assistance as needed.

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
