Bridgeport Hospital is proud to be a Level II Trauma Center, certified Stroke Center and the only Burn Care Center serving the State of Connecticut. Our Critical Care Units include: Medical/Cardiac ICU, Surgical/Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, Progressive Care Unit, and Critical Care Resource Support Unit.

Qualifications

LICENSURE: Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. BCLS. ACLS required.

EXPERIENCE: Critical Care RN experience required.

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred. Those with a Diploma or Associate's Degree need to show evidence that they are actively enrolled in a BSN or MSN program.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Good interpersonal skills. Successful completion of orientation
