A health services network on Long Island is looking to add a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to their one of their Adult Residential facilities in Suffolk County.

- Setting: Residential Facility - ICF
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30am to 4pm
- Patient Population: Adult ID/DD OPWDD
The Registered Nurse (RN) will:
- Serve as medical liaison for IDT team, ensuring proper medical follow-up
- Assess injuries/accidents to ensure individuals receive proper medical care
- Develop written plans for each person; modify nursing plan, as necessary
- Maintain medical records for each individual
- Participate as appropriate in planning and implementation of training of DDI personnel
- Ensure proper medical follow-up through an on-call system.
- Ensure all medication is administered and stored as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with OMRDD regulatory standards.
- Act as a liaison with family members regarding medical issues
- Prepare monthly medical administration records
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
