We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for the Galveston hotel properties, but will also have the opportunity to represent the Houston area and Golden Nugget, Lake Charles properties as well. The San Luis Resort, Spa & Conference Center, a 32-acre, beachfront hotel and spa resort on beautiful Galveston Island, Texas. Recipient of the AAA Four Diamond Award® since 1999, The San Luis Resort, stretches eight blocks along Galveston Island’s renowned Seawall Boulevard, The San Luis Resort, Spa and Conference Center, Hilton Galveston Island Resort, Holiday Inn Resort Galveston – On the Beach and the Galveston Island Convention Center at The San Luis Resort are located on a walkable, 32-acre property. Together, the three hotels include 662 rooms, 5 villas, 10 restaurants, and more than 200,000 square feet of meeting space.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned goals tied to the overall sales performance. The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts for all assigned hotels. The Regional Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the respective Area Directors of Sales & Marketing to achieve the revenue and market share goals for the hotels assigned. The focus of sales may vary based on the respective properties the associate is assigned to (i.e. Association Segment).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 4-6 years Full Service Hotel Sales experience preferred, resort or convention or 2-4 year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major experience preferred.
