We have an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager for Eastern US. We are looking for a high-energy individual who is dynamic, friendly, and outgoing. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing all sales related activities, including the sales team within the Eastern part of the US. Other duties include but not limited to are: executes the Sales Department strategic plan at a regional level, assigns and monitors territory and individual performance goals and results. Shows recognition to team members who complete their job above and beyond, monitors all HR related training activities, completes performance reviews, mentors and assists regional team members, reviews and approves regional member expense reports. Co travels within each territory at minimum of three times annually or as needed. Develops business of key regional/national accounts and manages the corporate relationships of our National Distribution channels. Excellent sales skills and a strong work ethic are essential. A Bachelor's degree is required for this position as is 5 years experience in sales. Strong preference will first be given to candidates with a degree in Microbiology and then to candidates with other degrees in the life sciences. A demonstrated successful sales track record in microbiology, biotechnology, or diagnostics is preferred. Those residing in Atlanta GA, NYC, Columbus OH, Charlotte NC, Orlando FL or Nashville TN are preferred.
