Regional Account Managers - based near: TBD, somewhere near the Ohio River Valley

Summary
As a customer driven organization, the goal is to make every customer successful in the implementation of a nutraceutical program that improves patients’ lives and builds value for the practice. As a sales representative, your focus will be on building existing customer business through increased interactions and touchpoints, digital educational webinar, and overall improved customer experience as well as closing new business.
Looking for an energetic, driven and team-oriented salesperson passionate about improving patient health outcomes through ocular nutrition to join its growing team. Ideal candidates will have a background in selling remotely and in market and be ready to share the clinical benefits of products and technology with Optometrists, Ophthalmologists and staff members.
This position is a critical growth driver within the company to increase customer utilization of best practices to develop new and grow existing customers within your territory.

Scope and responsibilities of position:

Essential Responsibilities
    Effectively manage and grow a defined sales territory with a sense of urgency
    Achieve quarterly, and annual sales goals by working with current customers while expanding new business throughout their geography
    Overnight travel to meet with current and prospective customers
    Support existing customers in a strategic and targeted manner
    Team members educate doctors and staff while selling and implementing products
    Plan and participate in trade shows, exhibits, dinner programs, and other presentations
    Use SalesForce software to manage customer interactions
    Perform in-depth data analysis to develop targeted business plan for territory
    Demonstrate product knowledge & competency
    Utilize time management & organizational skills and manage expenses by accomplishing
    objectives within budget
    Attend local, regional and national trade shows, some of which occur on weekends
    Demonstrate corporate values daily
Requirements:
    Proven inside sales experience, including a track record of over-achieving quota
    Ability to understand and present financial information to customers
    Energetic, outgoing and friendly demeanor
    Strong phone presence and in person presence
    Comfortable making cold calls and tenacity to handle rejection while maintaining a positive attitude
    Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
    Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
    Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    Strong listening and presentation skills
    Ability to communicate product features, scientific and financial benefits of program
    Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
Experience
    Two to three years of sales experience preferred
    Experience in health care or nutrition sales a plus
