Job description
Refrigeration Tech:The Refrigeration Technician is generally responsible for assembling custom transport refrigerators, refrigerating, and testing in a production environment. Specifically, you will perform the following functions:
Assemble various models and sizes of commercial truck transport refrigerators using panels and frames and hardware per work orders
Build up the refrigeration line set to connect the components of the system, including the compressor and condensing unit
Braze the line set connections
Apply refrigerant to the system
Install the system in the transport refrigerator, including cold plates, gauges, valves, wiring, and hardware
Set up and test the completed refrigerator per specifications
Troubleshoot leaks or other refrigeration system defects as necessary
Take refrigerator off test, finish, and prepare for the shipping department
Complete all relevant documentation related to assembly and test
EPA certification required
