Job description

We are looking for a Referral/ Authorizations Follow-Up Coordinator. This person will be responsible for monitoring the receipt of authorizations, routing routine medical procedure authorizations to our scheduling staff, and sending out referrals to multiple facilities. The best candidate for this position would be someone that has experience working with Commercial Insurance carriers.

The most qualified candidate would have:

• Experience with Commercial Insurance carriers
• Experience following up on referral and authorization requests
• Experience submitting Continuation of Care requests
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems, preferably EPIC
• Experience submitting referrals to multiple outside facilities
• Great communication with staff
• Great organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
