Scope of Position

The Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and developing effective strategies to ensure a sufficient pool of qualified applicants who meet the selection criteria for the clients of HResource Group. The Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist will also assist in the development and implementation of appropriate measures to assist in retention of talented and engaged hospitality professionals. ***Seeking candidates with specific field experience in medical, admin/finance or F&B/Hospitality recruitment experience ***

Requirements

  • Must have a passion for sourcing, recruiting and selecting the best talent
  • Experience in the Medical, Admin/Finance, Food & Beverage/Nightlife or Hospitality industry
  • Outstanding written, verbal and public presentation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Must be computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft (word and Excel) and previous HRIS onboarding experience a plus
  • Must have knowledge of United States employment law
  • Must be able to obtain authorization to work in the United State of America
  • Bilingual in Spanish language an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assist with development and review of jobs descriptions and career advertisements (print, online and in person planned Career Fairs).
  • Facilitate HResource Group structured Interviews as appropriate for all Hourly and Salary candidates.
  • Ensure all pre-employment paperwork is completed and maintain accurate records relating to pre and post employment for legal and company purposes
  • Coordinate drug testing and background checks for all successful candidates and on an ongoing basis for the clients.
  • Produce offer letters as directed.
  • Coordinate all I-9 administration and filing.
  • Maintain a weekly open positions list and distributes to local organizations and schools.
  • Continue to build relationships between HResource Group and leading Hospitality schools.
  • Assist in the organization and representation of the hotel during on-campus recruitment and job-fairs, building and maintaining relationships with American and international college and university representatives.
  • Assist the department by conducting yearly competitive wage and benefits surveys.
  • Assist the company in the daily operation and administration as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws concerning recruitment and hiring.
  • Other duties as directed by your leader.

Skills and Ability to: Work independently and exercise sound judgment within established guidelines; understand and implement administrative policies and procedures; conduct administrative research and analysis; collect, evaluate and interpret varied data, evaluate alternatives and reach sound conclusions; use word processing, graphics, spreadsheet and database programs to develop reports, databases and communications materials; compose correspondence; type at rate of 50 net words per minute from printed copy; coordinate multiple projects and meet critical deadlines; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

  • Physical Requirements: Remote Position On a continuous basis, sit at a desk for long periods of time in front of a computer screen; intermittently twist to reach equipment or supplies surrounding desk; perform simple grasping and fine manipulation; use telephone and computer keyboard on a daily basis.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
