Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to define key needs in roles and provide feedback on qualified candidates throughout recruitment lifecycle.
  • Conducting full lifecycle recruitment this includes posting, sourcing, prescreening, scheduling, gathering background information, references, offer, etc
  • Partnering with Business Development team to build relationships, understand future business pursuits, establish candidate pipelines, and create contingent offer letters.
  • Strategic sourcing through job boards, social media, and other outlets to generate talent other than inbound applications.
  • Strategically reviewing resumes and credentials for skills relevance, experience, and knowledge in relation to the position requirements and determine if someone can be a fit for additional roles.
  • Pre-Screening candidates to ensure candidates align from a cultural fit and have minimum knowledge and skills required for role.
  • Identifying opportunities in recruitment/hiring process to improve candidate and hiring manager workflows and experience.
  • Manage requisition activity and candidate status within the applicant tracking system and update job board postings.
  • Manage candidate expectations throughout the recruitment process including salary negotiation and extending offer of employment.
  • Partner with Talent Development Strategy Team by providing internship program support.
  • Partner with HR to complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador to expand the talent acquisition footprint
  • Developing & maintaining university partnerships

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of Talent Acquisition experience
  • Ability to be onsite in Windsor Mill, MD twice a week
  • Experience working with hiring managers to set expectations
  • Knowledge of best recruiting strategies including experience using web-based recruiting tools, such as social media, job boards, and applicant tracking systems
  • Experience recruiting for a variety of technical positions and qualifications for roles, and ability to gain conceptual understanding of a wide variety of concepts
  • Ensure regulatory aspects of the full cycle recruitment process is compliant with federal and state legislation
  • Ability to cold-call and build relationships by phone
  • Proven administrative and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Collaborates well in a team environment and approaches problem solving with an open mind to new concepts
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft products such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams
