The Recruiter provides support, and advocacy to ensure the best experience for both hiring managers and candidates. This position develops or implements effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization while fostering partnerships internally and externally to support our values, mission, and the HR initiative to support all employment phases through RECRUIT RETAIN REWARD RETIRE.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop and implement creative and innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Collaboratively supports the creation and maintenance of a recruitment campaign and retention practices.
  • Partner with HWR Teams to update or create communications to ensure practices support an agency of diverse and inclusive workforce; examples may include the corporate website, job descriptions and other internal documents.
  • Works closely with hiring managers to share best practices, provide support on critical needs and coordinate on staffing and retention initiatives.
  • Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start.
  • Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process to ensure positive experiences for both candidates and hiring managers through the full life recruitment cycle.
  • Collaborates with managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs, hiring events, and recruiting sessions.
  • Communicates frequently with hiring managers to provide timely, proactive updates regarding openings and candidate status.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


SUCCESS CAPABILITIES:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of broad HR experience including recruiting and talent acquisition.
  • Minimum 1 year experience demonstrated experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems; experience working with ADP preferred.
  • Previous healthcare recruitment experience preferred.
  • Recent experience recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions.
  • Certified Diversity Recruiter or Certified Internet Recruiter preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR, beneficial but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience in all areas of sourcing such as the internet, social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical

  • This is medium to heavy work requiring work requiring the exertion of up to 75 lbs. of force occasionally as well as 50 lbs. frequently utilizing appropriate safe transfer techniques and body mechanics when working with patients.
  • This work requires stooping, squatting, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping and feeling; vocal communication; hearing; visual acuity and color perception.
  • Employee understands and accepts possibility of exposure to environmental elements, internal and external, such as infectious disease, bloodborne pathogens, and chemicals and/or chemical fumes, (pet dander and/or exposure to allergens) and adverse effects of inclement weather that may occur as well as potentially difficult patient and family situations.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Compliance to Annual Flu Shot Policy or ability to provide exemption documentation
  • Provide an active auto insurance policy as a licensed driver in the State of Ohio with the proper level of coverage as directed
  • Provide an active driver’s license
  • Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
