The Recruiter will have responsibility for identifying and recruiting the absolute best talent across a variety of roles for our company. This role will also have responsibility for building continuous pipelines for future recruitment avenues. The Recruiter will report to the HR Generalist.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full cycle recruiting which includes sourcing great candidates, resume review, initial phone interviews, candidate communication/follow up & managing recruiting firm relationships.
  • Identify and effectively manage a strong pool of both active and sourced/passive candidates by using a variety of databases and tools including Paylocity/Recruiter, LinkedIn Recruiter, & Indeed.
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings.
  • Support hiring managers by coordinating interviews, gathering feedback, and giving interview advice/training as needed.
  • Partner with internal teams to generate new ideas to continuously innovate the recruiting and sourcing strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring teams and managers.
  • Play an integral role in the development of company branding efforts both locally and nationally.
  • Prioritize building a diverse team at every step of the recruiting process, ensuring interviews provide candidates of all backgrounds with equal, unbiased consideration and opportunity.
  • Champion a differentiated, exceptional candidate experience, partnering closely with our team to ensure all candidates leave our doors feeling inspired, supported, and informed.
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and offer process.
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate and manager a company-wide internship program and build relationships with colleges and universities.
  • Assist with other HR projects and data entry as needed.
  • Maintain quality work that exemplifies and promotes Flores’ core values.
Requirements:

Who You Are

  • Someone with a college degree is preferred but not required, with a minimum 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience across multiple business lines with a proven track record of success.
  • APHR/PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
  • An individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to take initiative & build strong productive relationships.
  • Someone who is comfortable with technology, who is able to own our Paylocity Applicant Tracking System.
  • An individual who is able to make long lasting relationships with recruiting firms, colleges, universities, and other partners.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and have a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Someone with a willingness to embrace and adapt to change who is results oriented, tenacious, and persistent personality with a focus on driving meaningful results.

Work Environment

Flores’ office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. This role operates in a professional hybrid office environment based out of our Charlotte office. This role is mostly sedentary and consists of prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Up to 10% travel between offices. This role also utilizes other tools such as a phone, copy machine, and printer. Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel. This position frequently communicates with Flores team members and candidates and must be able to exchange accurate information clearly in these situations.
