Corporate Receptionist
The Corporate Receptionist is responsible for greeting clients and visitors to the office. Under moderate supervision, this job gives clients directions to various parts of the office, contacts employees regarding visitors, answers phones and takes messages and sorts and distributes mail.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.

  • Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.

  • Assists clients, vendors and other visitors in finding their way around the office.

  • Helps maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.

  • Assists with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, and making travel plans.

  • Answers phones in a professional manner and routes calls as necessary.

  • Sorts and distributes mail to the correct department or employee.

  • Maintains an orderly and pristine appearance of office refreshment areas, conference rooms, guest reception areas and front desk, coordinating maintenance as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (heavy use of calendaring/outlook) and Excel.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
Base Pay Range: $21.77/hr. - $36.29/hr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
