The candidate must satisfy the following requirements.

1. An animal lover

2. Wants to work with dogs

3. Be able to bend, squat, lift (light cleaning required)

4. Available to rotate mornings, evenings, weekends and holiday shifts

Duties include –

1. Booking and confirming appointments

2. Checking clients in and out

3. Answering phone

4. Some dog handling

5. Some cleaning (dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry)

Hours are 7:30am-11am and/or 4pm-7:30pm

We are a full pet service facility. We offer boarding, daycare, grooming and training. Our boarding and daycare dogs get to enjoy our indoor and outdoor playpens. There is also an agility set at their disposal. Our 3-acre property is fully enclosed and dogs get supervised play time on the property. Training is offered either at our facility or at the clients' homes, depending on the needs of the dogs. We offer full grooming services.

Successful candidates must enjoy working with and being around dogs, have compassion for dogs, have some experience in handling dogs, have some knowledgeable in basic dog body language and basic characteristics of common breeds.

Successful candidates must also be self-starters, motivated, forward thinkers, work well in a group as well as individually, must be a team player, be receptive to embracing new experiences, skilled in time management, practice punctuality and tardiness, skilled in customer service and diffusing challenging situations.

Other requirements are on occasion transport of rescue dogs to vet appointments may be necessary, must be flexible with availability.

We are seeking candidates who are willing to work on an as needed basis as well as candidates seeking part time employment up to 20 hours a week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
