About us
The Interfaith Food Pantry Network the largest and most relied upon rescource for nutritious food in Morris County. We operate two food pantries and partner with a network of 31 network partners served by our Mobile Pantry. In 2022 we distributed 1.7 million pounds of food during 31,000 household visits. We are staffed by 22 employees and more than 250 volunteers who work together to positively impact the health and well-being of all those we serve.

As an administrative assistant and receptionist, you will be playing a valuable role and becoming an essential part of our team.
Responsibilities:
General
- Answers phones – direct to appropriate department.
- Greets pantry clients; records visits in database (training will be provided) and monitors waiting room during distribution hours
- Greets and interacts with volunteers and other guests
- Maintains appointment schedule (Excel)
- Maintains daily Income Log (Excel spreadsheet)
- Maintains inventory of all master office forms
- Orders office supplies
- Maintains photocopier and supplies
- Records distribution of emergency food bags
Administrative
- Assists in the preparation of Monthly Reports
- Assists the Executive Staff with correspondence, phone calls, and scheduling
- Supports special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) a MUST!
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel) - Access a plus, but can train
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
