Receiving Inspector
Job description
We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Receiving Inspector at our Southern Pines, North Carolina Returns Center location. The hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The starting pay is $15.61 per hour.
Responsibilities include:
- Processes returns per set policies.
- Performs inventory counts and enters them in the computer
- Works with other team members to ensure safety and processes are completed properly
- Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Performs other miscellaneous related duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and one to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- This position requires continuous standing, the ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
