Real Estate Credit Solutions Representative - Berrien Springs (Full-Time)
SUMMARY:
  • Responsible for performing timely collections of past due real estate and secondary market loans.
  • Work with secondary market guidelines to find solutions to mitigate losses of delinquent real estate loans.
  • Assist with Real Estate, Home Equity, Business Lending, Collections, Loan Counseling, Foreclosures, Bankruptcy and other areas as needed.
  • Communicate with members to determine reason for delinquency.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Two-year college degree in Business or related field is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred; or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Experience working with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and FHA portfolios. Knowledge of collection policies, procedures and related laws and regulations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Must have demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, percentages, etc.
  • Significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy.
  • Effective communication skills necessary for in-depth conversations with members and vendors.
  • Ability to motivate, influence and educate others on matters of significance.
