Responsibilities
Position Summary
Operates radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic x-ray images. Ensures images are delivered to PACS in proper sequence and position along with all required documents. Prepares procedure room, equipment, supplies and contrast media as needed. Performs diagnostic radiology procedures on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients according to established procedures. In addition to general diagnostic radiography, holds ARRT/California certification for and competently operates equipment to perform procedures for one of the following: CT scanning, or mammography, directly assisting the physician in the performance of routine and complex diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of three years experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
- Must possess and maintain a current California radiography certificate (CRT) and national registry certificate (ARRT)
- ARRT certification in CT if performing CT or California certification in Mammography if performing mammography
- Must have experience and demonstrate competency in radiography with fluoroscopy certification, as well as a minimum of one of the following: CT including ARRT certification with minimum of one year of experience in the modality or mammography including California certification with minimum of one year of experience in the modality.
- Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support certification (BLS).
- IV Certification within six months of hire or transfer.
