Job description
This team strives to provide a first-rate patient imaging experience. They work hard to ensure that each patient feels important and knows that they have been heard. The Radiologic team offer a warm welcome to their new team member and can't wait to meet you!
What You Will Own and Improve in this Role
- Performing and critiquing diagnostic X-ray, Computed Tomography and DXA exams
- Start IV for contrast and operation of the power injector for CT exams
- Communicating with the reading radiologist and/or facility regarding stat reads, comparison studies, special requests
- Accurate completion of patient paperwork for each exam
What You Bring to this Position
- Assurance of the lowest possible radiation dosage to get the best diagnostic image
- Experience working in a hospital setting
- Advocacy and compassion for the patient
About Your Team
This team is a small group of highly energetic people who like to learn and share. They encourage questions and do not shy away from finding difficult answers. They are open and honest and enjoy a good puzzle. This team has 1 Per Diem position open and ready to be filled.
To Be Successful
- One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist performing diagnostic imaging as well as CT is preferred
- You will hold a current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Computed Tomography
- We require an Associate's Degree of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology and a current WA State Department of Health License
