Our Mid-Park Inc. - Highway Division is looking for the following:
Quality Technician - Certified Weld Inspector 2nd Shift
This position will be responsible for performing inspection and auditing tasks to ensure product and process compliance to the quality management system on our Second Shift. Second Shift schedule is Monday through Thursday 3:30 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.
Duties will include:
- Perform receiving inspection on incoming raw materials, purchased parts, and components
- Assist with incorporating quality inspections within operator work instructions
- Perform process audits to measure compliance to quality management system standards
- Perform calibrations on gauging used in evaluation of product quality
- Issue and communicate quality alerts
- Perform in-process, coating, and final inspections on manufactured products
- Monitor welder compliance with welding procedure specifications and code requirements
- Assist with training production associates in relation to quality
- Generate inspection, audit, and calibration reports
- Issue product and process nonconformance's
- Identify quality problems or areas for improvement and recommend solutions
- Participate in problem solving activities to drive continuous improvement
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 + years steel fabrication experience or training
- Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Must be able to interpret shop drawings
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Metal Forming has been a leading manufacturer of agricultural products.
