Quality Control Inspector

SUMMARY

A quality control inspector monitors the quality aspects of our artisan's work on a project. S/he ensures that the services meet the PDCA standards as well as standards set by the organization. This role is for someone with great attention to detail, a keen eye, and someone who is excited about creating beautiful spaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect project sites to ensure that they meet company standards
  • Perform milestone walks on projects with the Artisan Leader, and client if needed
  • Prepare documentation on the inspection process, included detailed reports and performance records on cleanliness, execution, and overall project progress
  • Advise on adjustments needed, create a punch list
  • Clock in and out of shifts
  • Alert colleagues of safety hazards
  • Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and contract to understand the requirements
  • Coordinating with Artisan Management on quality-related issues and quality training
  • Recommend improvement measures to the operations process to ensure quality control standards are met

PRE-REQUISITES

  • Degree in Interior Design, or experience in the industry
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Profound knowledge of quality control standards
  • PDCA standards, preferred
  • CV, or Resume

Skills

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical capability to walk projects
  • Vigilant and extreme attention to detail

SALARY AND BENEFITS

This position is available for seasonal, project-based, or full-time hourly. It is a part-time position, with the opportunity to become full-time. Additional hours are subject to additional compensation.

Range of pay is between $25-45/hr based on years of experience, qualifications, previous experience and certifications received. Eligible benefits for full-time employees include health insurance (BlueCross BlueShield), paid time off gained over time at company (up to 2 weeks), and professional development opportunities available.
