Quality Control Inspector
SUMMARY
A quality control inspector monitors the quality aspects of our artisan's work on a project. S/he ensures that the services meet the PDCA standards as well as standards set by the organization. This role is for someone with great attention to detail, a keen eye, and someone who is excited about creating beautiful spaces.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect project sites to ensure that they meet company standards
- Perform milestone walks on projects with the Artisan Leader, and client if needed
- Prepare documentation on the inspection process, included detailed reports and performance records on cleanliness, execution, and overall project progress
- Advise on adjustments needed, create a punch list
- Clock in and out of shifts
- Alert colleagues of safety hazards
- Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and contract to understand the requirements
- Coordinating with Artisan Management on quality-related issues and quality training
- Recommend improvement measures to the operations process to ensure quality control standards are met
PRE-REQUISITES
- Degree in Interior Design, or experience in the industry
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Profound knowledge of quality control standards
- PDCA standards, preferred
- CV, or Resume

- Proficient written and verbal communication skills

- Vigilant and extreme attention to detail
SALARY AND BENEFITS
This position is available for seasonal, project-based, or full-time hourly. It is a part-time position, with the opportunity to become full-time. Additional hours are subject to additional compensation.
Range of pay is between $25-45/hr based on years of experience, qualifications, previous experience and certifications received. Eligible benefits for full-time employees include health insurance (BlueCross BlueShield), paid time off gained over time at company (up to 2 weeks), and professional development opportunities available.
