Business Purpose:
To have a proficient person responsible for providing daily support to our Quality Assurance group related to the quality system, certifications, database management and support for QTC.

Role Qualifications: Required (R) & Preferred (P)

Education:
H. S. diploma (R); A.S/B.S. in Quality, Engineering or Business (P).

Experience:
1-5 years experience in quality control, Mfg. Engineering, wrought alloy processing and/or technical function (R).

Areas of Knowledge:
Quality Control, clerical (R), Editing PDF in Adobe (P).

Skills:
Strong communication skills, analytical skills, technical writing, leadership, attention to details, and computer systems (Word/Excel/Adobe, etc.). (R).

Global Accountabilities for the Role:

• Safety & Environmental: Adhere to, and ensure compliance with company policies/procedures related to Safety (e.g. wearing proper PPE, etc.), training, Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), Comprehensive Position Descriptions (CPDs), environmental, and safety systems.
• Quality: Ensure the quality of the product to the customer by ensuring daily functions are carried out in a manner.
• Delivery: Have an attitude of timeliness for requested work from manager, colleagues, and people having key cross functional relations.
• Cost/Stewardship: Demonstrate stewardship in exercising judgment in the use of company resources with regards to the quality group and its resources.

Specific Accountabilities for the Role:

QTC Support: Support certifications in the daily functions, provide assistance for other data that flows into the certification department (bluesheets, chem sheets, macro sheets, etc.), review all generated certifications for errors, support with the editing of corrected certifications, ensure the flow of certifications throughout the review process and maintain current matrix for error tracking and categorization of errors of completed marked-up certifications and scanned to IT.

Communication: Effectively and efficiently communicate for all assigned functions, effectively monitor, document, and report status, activity, and progress in area of responsibility, ensure effective communication to colleagues and ensure timely input of required information to the quality monthly report.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
