Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible to develop, administer and maintain quality assurance procedures and activities required to ensure that processes and procedures are compliant, applicable quality standards and regulatory requirements are met. Employ quality assurance methodologies in support of sales, engineering and operations objectives. Provide drive, leadership and communication skills to support the mission of living a continuous improvement culture.

Essential Job Functions

• Provides leadership in developing and executing the following processes that in line with our QMS program: Internal Audits, Third Party Audits, Corrective and Preventive Action, Management Review, Calibration, Document and Data Control, Risk Management, Quality Planning and Control of Nonconforming Materials.
• Creating and Implementing SOP’s and training programs
• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement teams. Coach as needed to ensure problem solving and continuous improvement tools are deployed within the organization.
• Company liaison and team resource for qualification activities.
• Support training processes by developing and executing training programs in support of our QMS.
• Specifies and maintains QC equipment to ensure conformity with specifications.
• Regularly analyzes services provided to develop new ways to better satisfy company needs (new/different equipment, alternative work methods, improved quality/service, etc.)
• Analyze QMS metrics and develop recommendations for improvement.
• Oversees technical writing projects concerning the QMS.
• Completes other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years in an industrial/supervisory role and quality related experience
• Knowledge of GMP or ISO9001 experience is required.
• Strong background in statistics and quality inspection methods.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership, written communication and computer skills.
• Ability to coach, train and work well with others.
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Extensive manufacturing experience is preferred.
• The necessity for accurate color vision in all aspects of the job including but not limited to color application, discernment and quality control is an essential job requirement.
• Self-driven and detail oriented; able to identify problems and respond in a decent and prompt manner.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
