Bazooka Candy Brands (BCB), the confectionery division of The Bazooka Companies, Inc. is seeking a
Quality Assurance Associate for our Scranton, Pennsylvania offices; with iconic brands including Ring Pop, Push Pop, Bazooka Bubblegum, & Juicy Drop, BCB is one of the leading manufacturers & innovators of non-chocolate confections in the US.
Responsibilities:
Duties under the direction of the QA Manager/Director:
- Conduct product inspections
- Conduct co-packer and factory inspections
- Assist the team in developing Food Safety and Quality Systems
- Responsible for monitoring inspection results and determining trends
- Responsible for accurate record keeping
- Track and investigate consumer complaints
- Special projects
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements:
College degree or equivalent experience required, (Science preferred)- Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel; Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Must have excellent attention to detail, accuracy
- Must exhibit a positive/professional attitude, ability to work independently and with team
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
