Quality Technician I - PRP
Location: Pearl River Plant – Pearl River, MS

Hours of work:
Full-time position with hours 7 days per week; rotating 8- or 12-hour shifts


The Quality Technician I will, with minimal supervision, perform standardized laboratory testing on raw materials, in process materials and finished products to determine compliance with specifications. The Quality Technician I will maintain accurate laboratory records and input data into SAP. The Quality Technician I will consult with Production Technicians to resolve any lingering process problems.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
  • Responsible for non-supervised interface with other plant teams and Corporate QA in a cooperative fashion, demonstrating teamwork to communicate product quality and analytical information
  • Using written procedures, prepares samples for analysis and performs testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to establish conformance to specifications
  • Prepares and standardizes chemical solutions in the laboratory
  • Identifies testing discrepancies and works to resolve identified issues

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • Previous experience in the workforce is preferred
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
