LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Purchasing Coordinator for one of our clients located in the Carpentersville, IL area. The ideal candidate must have minimum of three years of Purchasing experience and intermediate Excel skills (V-LOOK UPS and other formulas). THIS IS A CONTRACT TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY WITH AN HOURLY RATE OF $26/HR.
Duties:
- Issuing and following up on Purchase Order
- Finding reliable suppliers and negotiate prices, build quality and delivery terms
- Set up the order quantities and making bid requests on supply contracts
- Coordinate order status report submissions from suppliers
- Maintain supplier price lists
- Maintain superior level of accuracy while creating and verifying purchase order information
Qualifications:- Must have advanced working knowledge of VLOOKUP function in Excel and PIVOT Tables
- Must have demonstrated SAP experience
- Close attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- 2+ years’ experience in purchasing
- Excellent mathematical skills
