Position: Purchasing Buyer - Part-Time - Temporary
Position Reports to the Purchasing Manager
Location: Fully Remote
The Purchasing Buyer is responsible for preparing and submitting purchase orders on a daily basis to vendor suppliers. The buyer will make purchasing and order fulfillment decisions with a daily goal to achieve a 100% fill rate.
Responsibilities
- Assuring the timely processing of sales order fulfillment based on daily company order activity.
- Working with sales and customer service departments to ensure customer orders are accurately entered, and placed in a timely and cost effective manner
- Provide troubleshooting of purchasing issues to other company departments
- Using ERP to compile data and analyze purchasing patterns
- Negotiate pricing, transportation and payment terms with vendors.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
- 2 years of prior Purchasing experience.
- Experience within a retail or manufacturing business is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree
