What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a Project Support Officer to join us, to provide administrative and project support for both our Delivery Team and our Information Security Team.

We want someone who is self-motivated, analytical, inquisitive, and has excellent communication and presentation skills. We’re looking for a Project Support Officer who is proactive and organised, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure. This role may suit someone interested in becoming a project manager in the future.

Details of The Role

This Project Support Officer position is a full time, permanent role and it is available as either Nottingham office-based, remote (UK) or a hybrid model where you can choose the right amount of time in the office for you. We support flexible working in many forms - as well as a flexible workday, we support condensed hours, 9-day fortnights and part-time (where appropriate).

Key responsibilities

Supporting the Delivery Team with children’s social care and education project implementations.

  • Complete actions from project meetings
  • Follow up with key customer contacts regarding outstanding actions
  • Use the appropriate channels to communicate with external and internal stakeholders
  • Support with data collection and testing activities
  • Administrative tasks (e.g., writing up meeting notes, booking meetings, co-ordinating tasks)
  • Collate and analyse data in excel, and support report writing

Supporting the Information Security Team with the administration of the company’s information security management system (ISO27001 & Cyber Essentials).

  • Working to support the achievement of our ISMS objectives
  • Review and maintain IS policies, procedural documentation and project risk assessments
  • Support with reporting and management of information security events and issues
  • Coordinate employee information security training
  • Support with the internal audit programme
  • Support with quality assurance tasks for business documents

Knowledge

  • Knowledge in children’s social care or education
  • Knowledge of information security standards
  • Good understanding of recent project management best practices

Security Standards & Data Protection

  • Maintain awareness of latest data protection and security threats
  • Follow internal information security procedures and identify potential omissions through the appropriate channels
  • Raise information security incident reports following the company’s incident reporting process

Desirable

  • Experience with Information Security (e.g. ISO27001 or Cyber Essentials)
  • Background/Knowledge/interest in health, social care and/or education sector with awareness of current national policies
  • Educated to degree level
  • Experience in delivering training through face-to-face training, updating e-learning solutions, and recording training videos

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary - £28,000 to £32,000

Interview Process

  • First stage interview via MS Teams with Talent Acquisition Manager
  • Second stage interview via MS Teams to include task, test or activity with Senior Solutions Consultant and Information Security Officer
  • Third stage interview via MS Teams with the Chief Operating Officer, and the Delivery Team Manager.

Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
