Growth Delivery & Operations is responsible for end-to-end management and center success for New Centers, Acquired Centers and centers going through significant reopening process. Our work extends across childcare brands including KinderCare, KinderCare at Work and Crème de la Crème.

Within our team, Center Success Managers focus on serving a portfolio of projects from risk assessment to initial scoping and kick off to center readiness for the fleet. The Center Success Manger is passionate about family and staff experience while ensuring timeline adherence, performance against success metrics and managing internal partners against agreed upon service level agreements.

Center Success Managers manage projects within a Project Management Framework (Iterative and Waterfall) from initiation through project close while providing methodology guidance and expertise on project execution. Center Success Managers work cross functionally to ensure other business partners are aware of desired outcomes and timelines and are able to meet project requirements to deliver on expectations around experience, timeline and budget. The Center Success Manager partners closely with a dedicated Growth Operations Manager to establish center specific success plans including milestones around, hiring, licensing, building readiness and center environment set up as well as staff training.

When you join our team as a Project Manager you will...

  • In partnership with Growth Operations Manager, create custom Center Success Plan for New Construction centers to manage through execution with a strong focus on providing excellent experience and communication
  • Manage for center success for both New Construction and Acquisition centers from project kick off through graduation to the fleet ensuring management and completion of open items (through business partner teams) for: Licensing, Facilities, IT, Center Setup, Hiring/Recruiting, and Center Enrollment
  • Connect weekly with Center Directors to ensure clear communication of progress and timelines
  • Work within a workstream framework to move centers through new center opening or integration
  • Ensure execution of training plans and escalate if additional training support is needed
  • Facilitate operational team building through coordination of operational business partners between teams
  • Manage and raise concerns about risks to experience, budget, and timeline
  • Ensure positive center experience for staff and families through welcome, opening and integration processes
  • Manage project dependencies, milestones, and critical path
  • Ability to customize project approaches to achieve desired outcomes, timelines and project budgets
  • Controls and tracks changes to scope, schedule, quality/experience, issues, and risk

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management
  • Capable of creating clear visuals to help others understand timelines and goals
  • Ability to build rapport and trust across business partners
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to stay positive in the face of change
  • Ability to proactively plan work with a focus on user experience and outcome
  • Highly collaborative working style and ability to listen, understand, influence, and prioritize competing needs
  • Excellent planning, organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Superior communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Excellent judgment, ability to think critically and strong decision-making skills, including risk evaluation, outcomes assessment and solutions determination in a timely manner
  • Experience with Smartsheet highly desired
  • Experience working in childcare center operations desired
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of time to sites located in and out of state as required
