Job Description

M. Braun, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Project Management Department. This person will be responsible for all aspects of project management from the initial planning, to the execution, to the shipment of the finished project while adhering to strict project timelines and maintaining costs within set budgets. This includes acquiring resources, coordinating all involved parties, defining project objectives, overseeing quality control, and delivering product based on set goals. Job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct and manage the development of all orders from start to finish while meeting the set deadlines
  • Effectively communicate project expectations with all parties involved
  • Work with engineering on design details and to secure layout drawings for custom projects
  • Work with suppliers to secure quotes for all custom, fabricated, and purchased parts
  • Enter drawing packages into the ERP system to create bill of materials (BOM)
  • Plan, schedule and monitor order timelines and communicate the details to the customer
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans for these events
  • Responsible for cost estimates on projects
  • Track all the fiduciary requirements for projects
  • Responsible for providing positive coaching, mentoring and motivation to project team members and contractors to influence them to take action and accountability for their assigned work


Job Requirements

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of Navision software a plus, but not required
  • This individual should be able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Some minimal travel may be required to meet with customers

  • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle time management in a high pressure environment
  • Must have strong problem solving skills and possess the ability to resolve common problems
  • Must be customer oriented and must be able to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner with customers and end users as well as other M.Braun employees
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision


Education Requirements

Combination of a college degree in a relevant field of study (associates, bachelors) and/or directly applicable experience (2-3 years required)


Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Physical Requirement: Must have fine motor skills; mobility to move safety on the production floor; and the ability to sit for most of the day
  • Visual Requirement: Must be able to visually read documents and a computer screen
  • Hearing Requirement: Must be able to hear and speak on the phone and in person to convey information
  • Mental Requirement: Comprehension, Organization, Reasoning, Decision Making, Communication, and Mathematics
