Job description

Seeking a Project Manager to manage one or more large, complex Infrastructure and/or Data Conversion projects under the Unemployment Insurance Solution Program. PM will work alongside a team of project/program managers, coordinators, and vendor resources to implement the overall UI Solution.

Top skills required-

1. 5 years of experience as a Project Manager

2. Leading Infrastructure/ data conversion projects

3. Government or SOM experience

4. Some travel required, will occasionally drive from Detroit MI to Lansing Mi. This is not a weekly requirement

Job Responsibilities:

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT field
• Able to follow prescribed PM methodology and PMO processes
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Works under program-level supervision with some latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
