Raytheon Intelligence and Space’s Missile and Airborne PMO is looking for a Project Management Liaison who will oversee and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects as liaison between the SM-3 Program, functional organizations and the customer. This role is a great path for someone who is looking to gain experience in a variety of roles and activities that are in support of the SM-3 program.

In this role you will oversee project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client satisfaction goals and objectives. You will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for problem solving with stakeholders, and you will mainly support the Supply Chain Risk Management scope of work on the SM-3 program.

  • Position Location – Tucson, AZ (Hybrid with occasional onsite support as needed).
  • Limited travel may be required to support Supply Chain Risk Mgmt (SCRM) and Mission Assurance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the scope of work of a project and develop a plan on how to execute new and evolving requirements within the supply base, including, but not limited to, Supply Chain Risk Management requirements.
  • Define action plans and manage closure within both the program IPT structure and directly with functional departments within the robust matrix.
  • Frequently interface with Program Managers, Hardware Management Teams, Mission Assurance, and functional leadership to ensure proper flow down of requirements.
  • Navigate through complex organizational mazes to reach closure on actions in support of the scope of work and flow down to the supply base.
  • Coordinate with Mission Assurance to ensure requirement compliance of suppliers.
  • Coordinate procurement and tracking of hardware piece parts for specific testing requirements.
  • Support supply chain proposal efforts and activities, and Gidep, MDA Alerts, and MDA requests.
  • Support implementation of unique program requirements for MDA programs
  • Provide support for Program status meetings and reviews, EAC reviews, supplier meetings, etc.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in project management with multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of supply chain functions and responsibilities and the ability to interface with multiple function to accomplish projects and goals.
  • Experience interfacing with multiple internal organizations and external customers.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment to communicate effectively across multiple functional areas, as well as with parties external to the organization.
  • Ability to interface and effectively communicate with the MDA customer.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel where significant attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills in project management and task prioritization.
  • Must be a self-starter that is flexible and is able to work independently at a high level.
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills; ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Certified Program Management Level 6 (IPT Lead) or ability to obtain certification.
  • Earned Value (EV) Certification preferred.
  • Proficient with SAP (APEX/PRISM).
  • Understanding of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR) and (DFARS).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (i.e., Pivot tables, advanced formulas, external data sources, automation, etc.).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project.

U.S. Citizenship required, as the applicant must have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance within first year of start date.

Education:

Typically requires a University Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain, Science or related field, and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
