Construction Project Manager, Owners Rep

Project executive with projects $200million plus and can navigate highly claimant and difficult contractual circumstances

• Construction Project Manager – Retail New build and renovations
• Construction Project Manager to assist in planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring the fit outs and developments of the projects – with a heavy involvement on new builds, refurbishments and fit-outs across New Jersey, New York
• Redevelopments of the existing locations - we're looking for someone who is eager and excited to help us scale and improve our QSR (quick service restaurant) & gas station footprint across multiple markets.
• This role will oversee QSR and gas station redevelopments, fit outs, both new openings and re-openings, renovation projects, and special asset projects, acting as a funnel point for multiple stakeholders across both the internal and external business including operations, design, and restaurant brands.
• As a lead role, you would preferably have experience in all aspects of a Development Project lifecycle– including the design, and construction management.
• You should be able to project manage all aspects of these projects, including schedule, risk, and quality management.
• Manage planning, coordination and execution of various projects across the aforementioned states.
• Manage daily project management activities through all levels of store development.
• [Design, permitting, construction and restaurant turn-over.
• Review drawings, specifications and quantities and raise any issues in regards to construction
• Manage the interface between conflicting trades and programmer
• Liaise with consultants, directors, contractors engaged in the project as necessary
• Supervise and monitor the work of contractors on site
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Ensure work is delivered in accordance with the specification
• Fully interact with other members of the construction site team
• Liaise with other department managers
• Management of planning and implementation of assigned projects.
• Delivery of projects in line with specifications and client contracts.
• Developing and driving key relationships with the internal delivery team (sales, design, fabrication and construction crews).
• Track, manage and communicate project milestones and attend site as and when required.
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
• Use project management methodologies to ensure smooth delivery of works and continued accuracy of timelines and costs.
• Manage changes to the project whilst maintaining a project Risk Register.
• Complete Project reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
• Manage and coordinate subcontract packages such as earthworks, painting, mechanical, mill work, QSR fit out, as required.
• BS/BEng in engineering or Construction Management
• 3+ years of experience
• Vast knowledge of Microsoft Office – notably Excel and Project
• Experience in managing multiple projects at one time.
• Experience working with in procurement or with a general contractor would be advantageous
• Experience in a commercial retail environment would be advantageous
• Willing to travel to sites as required and be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
