Criterion Child Enrichment specializes in developmentally appropriate programs and services for young children and their families. Criterion has a range of early childhood programs including early Intervation, childcare, and newborn home visiting programs.

Criterion is seeking a full time Program Director for our early intervention program located in West Roxbury, MA. The Program Director is responsible for the management and oversight of the Early Intervention Program including maintaining compliance with the department of public health and Criterion Policies and Procedures. The responsibilities Include:

• Provide leadership, management and supervision of a multidisciplinary Early Intervention Program.

• Maintain program compliance with the Department of Public Health Early Intervention Operational Standards and Criterion Child Enrichment Policies and Procedures.

• Provide oversight on Early Intervention Client System.

• Participate in the Department of Public Health Division of Early Intervention Program Director meetings and trainings.

• Coordinate all personnel activities, including the hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of program employees and consultants.

• Provide administrative and clinical supervision to administrative team.

• Work in collaboration with the administrative team to coordinate all aspects of service provision including referral, intake, evaluations, IFSP development, home visits, child groups, and transition/discharge.

• Engage in outreach and educational activities with community service providers.

• Participate in professional development activities and training necessary to enhance skills and maintain required certifications.

• Comply with all agency, state and federal documentation requirements.

• Maintain confidentiality as specified by agency policy, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Obtain Department of Public Health Early Intervention Director Certification within specified timelines.
• Adhere to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 119 Section 51A: Reporting of Suspected abuse or neglect
• Meet with the Chief Administrative Officer on a regular basis.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Chief Administrative Officer.

• Master’s degree in a field related to early childhood development, pediatric therapy or mental health
• Three years pediatric experience required
• Two years supervisory experience required
• Early Intervention management experience preferred
• Current MA registration (if applicable)
• Current malpractice insurance (if applicable)
• Department of Public Health Early Intervention Specialist and Early Intervention Director Certification preferred
