Job Location: This position will be located at 205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.

From learning about programs to providing feedback on a policy, there are a variety of ways that stakeholders can engage with others at the local, regional, and state level.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary web maintainer for the office, including the creation and maintenance of webpages.
  • Design graphics, including charts, graphs, and infographics for print and web, including social media.
  • Ensure office websites and print media meet accessibility standards.
  • Serve on the Department’s communication/website team to ensure office website features are up-to-date.
  • Review and maintain data related to analytics from office websites.
  • Work with office personnel to, design, edit, and update publications for multiple audiences for use in print and online (i.e. department brochures, flyers, newsletters, booklets/guides/handbooks, and document/report covers).
  • Develop, design, and produce collateral materials needed for Office of Childhood events, including Conference on the Young Years.
  • Develop, distribute, and pull reports for online surveys and forms used within the office.
  • Oversee the use of various communication and virtual meeting tools for the office, including Benchmark One and Zoom.
  • Track and maintain listing of Office of Childhood general email accounts and user access.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, graphic design, English, journalism or other related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
