CSA is seeking a Program Analyst, the work to be performed will include the Pentagon, Crystal City, Fort Belvoir, Fort Lee VA and Redstone Arsenal, AL.
This position is contingent upon award.
Responsibilities
- Will conduct analysis on Army readiness data. Analysis of data is a process of inspecting, cleaning, transforming, running various mathematical calculations, and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting decision-making applicable to Army readiness concepts.
- Will be required to understand Structured Query Language (SQL) and be skilled in Microsoft Excel based analytics and informatics. SQL is an international standard for database manipulation.
- Will utilize proven interrelated analytical techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, to evaluate the effectiveness of substantive mission-oriented programs. The Contractor shall analyze, mine data, detect significant trends, and develops accurate and timely readiness analysis for long range use.
- Will perform research and analysis to include preparation of statistical data, narrative reports, and replies to inquiries from the Division Chief, Director, and other Army Staff agencies. This includes recommending edits of draft reports and disseminating to appropriate activities as required.
- Will assist other ODR personnel with a variety of management and administration functions, including the preparation of analyses, readiness presentation, information papers, and briefings.
Qualifications
- Master's degree
- 7 - 10 years' experience
- Army experience with HQDA staff preferred. Experience with the Army and Dod Test and Evaluation Process, Army Readiness Reporting and the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), experience using standard automated toolsets to monitor database performance and maintain database operation. Experience in expert methods of system and relational database management, specifically data exchange/validation, with database design and optimization; data storage and warehousing and backup and restoration. Experience using tools to validate raw data, articulate input/output and report issues orally and in writing.
