Job Description
We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to work in Zephyrhills, FL. The Production Resource is responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems) in order to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieves performance targets as agreed with Production Management.
Night Shift
Schedule : rotate on 2-2-3 schedule 5pm– 5am (can fluctuate dependent on business need).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure Safety Standards are executed by all associates with Safety being the leading topic at all meetings with associates.
- Ensure that a high quality of products, services, housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained and improved in the area.
- Review of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Top Losses daily and ensuring action plans are focused on correcting the Top Losses
- Support the Operations Manager on all key deliverables of the business.
- Ensure Daily Operational Reviews are executed at a high level with engagement from all responsible associates.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members to meet current and future business requirements.
- Ownership of Weekly Staffing of shift responsible for with focus on building competency across the team
- Work directly with Technical Resource and Line Owners on key actions to drive business results.
- Lead problem solving events with cross functional team members to effectively and efficiently eliminate losses.
- Understand internal and external regulations, procedures and policies and apply them fairly and consistently
- Manage relationships with internal customers and suppliers, colleagues and support services to ensure achievement of targets. Qualifications
- Two to five years of experience in a supervisory capacity with line ownership required
- Four-year degree preferred not required
- Understanding of processes and mechanics of line equipment
- Understanding of Safety Standards and ability to enforce those requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- SAP and PC Skills including MS excel and Word
- Familiarity with quality and hygiene regulation
- Cost awareness of operations
- Ability to multi-task and delegate
- Effective communication skills
- Proven track record of developing employees.
