Production Supervisor - (Relief Shift cover)

• Will cover 2nd & 3rd shift
• Food Manufacturer
• $75 - $85K per annum + Annual Bonus

We are working with a Food Manufacturer based near Tennessee City, TN who are looking to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor to join their Engineering team. This is a relief shift position covering 2nd & 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of $75K-$85K dependant on experience and skills.

As Production Supervisor you will manage a team of approximately 30 team members to ensure products are produced in a safe and cost-effect way and to the required quality

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure waste is minimised ensuring conformance to safety & quality standards.
• Mentor, train & develop staff members on shift to ensure optimum performance & growth.
• Recognize & reward individual and team members performance and address performance issues providing further training where required
• Report production statistics to management including labour utilisation and wastage
• Participate in weekly GMP, sanitation, and safety inspections throughout the production departments and correct OR address deficiencies.
• Assist with required safety meetings with team members
• Identify and arrange temporary staff needs and carry out inductions
• Approve staff payroll and hours worked using in-house system
• Direct requisitions for maintenance & repair of production equipment, and for machine parts and manufacturing supplies. Recommend improvements in machinery & equipment and in manufacturing methods.

Skills/Experience:

• Experienced Production Supervisor within a Bakery / Food Manufacturing plant
• MUST HAVE supervisory experience.
• Ability to set KPI’s, mentor and lead.
• Knowledge of GMP & Food Hygiene standards

This position is commutable from: Tennessee City, Burns, Dickson, Kingston Springs, Charlotte
