Our company, Sonata Learning (https://www.sonatalearning.com), creates training programs for globally recognized NGOs/nonprofits, businesses and government agencies. We have grown steadily over the past seven years and are looking for versatile production assistants to support our writers and designers.

Can you speed-read a technical manual on any subject - from engineering to healthcare to finance - and quickly figure out all the jargon? Do your uterly detest typos and formatting errors? Are you the kind of person who would create a spreadsheet (with formulas and color coding) to plan a birthday party?

As a Production Specialist , you will proofread scripts for training videos and work alongside designers to create slide decks and web page content for client training programs (you can find examples in the "services" section of our website).

This is a 100% virtual, term-of-project role with the possibility of growing into a regular part-time or even full-time position.

Responsibilities / Outcomes Delivered

• Proofread/edit scripts and other documents
• Create slide decks based on scripts provided by writers and templates furnished by graphic designers
• Copy script/outline contents into PowerPoint slide templates (no graphic design skills required)
• Search for appropriate photos in stock image repositories
• Do very light copywriting and assist with research tasks as required
• Ensure tasks are completed within the allotted hours, by the established deadline, according to project specifications
• Do quality assurance reviews of interactive e-learning modules, animated videos, and websites (will provide training, though prior media / software QA experience a plus)
• Assist with various research tasks / help writers review, annotate client source material
• Serve as an assistant project coordinator, making sure the status of tasks is updated in our tracking platform (ClickUp)

Candidates will be asked to complete a 90 minute, timed skills test.
