Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, logistics, and manufacturing departments.

· Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve the company’s needs.

· Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.

· Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.

· Maintains master schedule for the each assigned facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.

· Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.

· Builds jobs in ERP System

· Closes jobs upon completion and reviews hours to target.

· Monitors target to actual hours per job

· Reviews hours standards with internal teams

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Extremely proficient with production planning systems, such as MRP.
  • Must have experience using Epicor ERP systems.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

Five years of experience in EPICOR, planning and scheduling.

Education and/or Equivalent Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five years related experience in supply chain management, business management preferred. Five years’ related experience and/or equivalent combination of education in EPICOR, planning and scheduling experience preferred.

Training, Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Training: Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or other relevant certification is preferred.

Critical Skills

Language Skills: Ability to read, write, interpret documents and effectively present information

Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematic concepts

Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office suite

Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand detailed instructions and deal with problems

Physical Demands

Occasionally: Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and lift up to 25 pounds

Regularly: Reach with hands or arms

Frequently: Sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk or hear

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
