Spherion Staffing is looking to fill a Production Manager for a stable manufacturing company in the Post Falls area that is currently growing.

Responsibilities:
Develop, control, and modify production schedules as needed to meet goals.
Achieve optimum employee levels with the least amount of overhead and raw material costs to meet annual budgetary plan
Formulate and recommend manufacturing policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the business
Direct and monitor department supervisors to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures
Act as liaison between department management/subordinate levels, as well as, executive/department manager levels to inform personnel of communications, decisions, policies, and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes, and results
Hire, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the department is ready to meet the growing demands of the business
Direct the establishment, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of production standards and metrics

Evaluate employee performance on a continual basis and provide continuous performance feedback
Work effectively and relate well with others. Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others while working to maintain constructive working relationships
Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
Preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree in related field i.e. Business Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology or related technical degree.

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
8 years prior hands on experience in a manufacturing/machine shop
5 years experience in manufacturing supervision and working within an ERP environment
Must possess knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining of parts/equipment
Regulatory requirements in safety related field, i.e. OSHA
Continuous Improvement concepts
Must have the ability to efficiently multi-task, handle competing priorities and tasks, remain organized, and meet deadlines
