Production Associate – Multiple Openings on Bus Line

Commercial Employees is hiring several Production positions in the Blawnox / RIDC area. You will be working with a leading manufacturer of industrial coatings, chemicals and tapes for global customers in a wide range of markets. Our Production Associates are responsible for supporting manufacturing operations including batching, labeling and packaging activities. These are hands-on positions that require detailed participation in all aspects of the production process.

Positions are available for multiple shifts and the starting pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour. These full-time contract positions are targeted to convert to regular employment. WEEKLY pay is provided, and benefits are available both before and after conversion.

Some Core Details for our Production Associate positions:

• SAFETY is a top priority - all Safety procedures and practices must be followed without exception!
• You will work on a team that produces and mixes chemical compounds.
• Normal working hours are 7:00 to 3:30 or 3:00 to11:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Work hours may be changed to accommodate changing business needs. Weekend work may be required.
• Two 15-minute breaks with one unpaid 30-minute lunch break every day.

Production Associate Requirements:

• Must be fluent in English with the ability to read, understand and interpret batch formulations including chemical processing instructions, processing and related safety requirements, temperatures, pressures, flow rates etc.
• Must be able to read and understand MSDS Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals and materials used in the plant.
• Excellent attention to detail is an absolute requirement.
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
• A Chemical Compounder / Batcher background is helpful
• Reliable transportation is required

Pay and Benefits for our Production Associate Positions:

• Starting hourly wage ranges from $17 to $19 per hour based on shift differentials
